A journalist for daily newspapers since 1996, Tiffini Theisen has been an editor, reporter and web producer and is currently social media editor for The Palm Beach Post in West Palm Beach, Fla.
She creates and implements all aspects of The Post’s social media strategy, with an emphasis on breaking news. She recently built a new audience-engagement channel for PalmBeachPost.com called Community Post.
Tiffini also serves in a training role for the newsroom staff in using social media strategies such as finding sources and information, building their brands as reporters, engaging with readers, and using tools including Facebook, Twitter, CoveritLive, WordPress and more.
